Scaling a B2B translation agency

Scaling a B2B translation agency

Overview

Co-founded Pangea International, a B2B translation agency, with zero starting capital. Designed and built the sales and marketing engine from scratch, scaling the company to 600+ clients, $180K+ yearly revenue, and operations in 3 countries before being bought out.

The Challenge

Starting a service business with no capital meant we couldn't buy our way to growth. We needed a system that could generate a steady pipeline of qualified B2B leads without spending money on ads or salespeople. The translation industry is crowded and commoditized, so we also needed a way to stand out and reach decision makers directly.

The Solution

I developed a personalized outreach system designed for scale. I built processes to identify target businesses and their key decision makers, then created personalized email sequences that spoke directly to their specific needs. I also built the entire sending infrastructure to support high-volume outreach while maintaining deliverability and avoiding spam filters. The system generated consistent deal flow from day one, allowing us to sign clients and generate revenue with virtually no upfront investment.

As the business grew and we had revenue to reinvest, I expanded the marketing mix. We added Google Ads as a paid acquisition channel and started experimenting with lead magnets to capture inbound interest. Each new channel was layered on top of the outreach foundation, compounding our growth. By the time I was bought out, the company had established a sustainable client acquisition engine that continued to perform without my direct involvement.

Results

  • 600+ clients acquired
  • $180K+ yearly revenue
