Content repurposing machine

Content repurposing machine

Overview

Built an AI-powered workflow that enabled the social media team and individual employees to repurpose long-form content (webinars, articles, courses, YouTube videos, ebooks) into platform-specific social posts with just a few clicks.

The Challenge

GetResponse was producing a high volume of valuable long-form content, but most of it was only used once. The social media team lacked bandwidth to manually repurpose every piece across platforms, and when employees tried to share company content, the results were inconsistent in tone and quality. Meanwhile, content was sitting unused while the team scrambled to create new posts from scratch.

The Solution

I designed and built an AI workflow that transformed our content repurposing process. The system ingested long-form content, whether a 60-minute webinar recording, a 2,000-word blog post, or a full ebook, and generated platform-optimized outputs for Reddit, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels.

The key was ensuring outputs didn't read like generic AI slop. I trained the workflow on our brand voice guidelines, high-performing past posts, and platform-specific best practices so the generated content was engaging, on-brand, and required minimal editing. I made the tool accessible to both the social media team for official channels and individual employees for personal professional sharing, democratizing content distribution across the organization.

Results

  • 70% reduction in time spent creating social content from existing assets
  • 3x increase in content pieces generated per original asset
  • Adopted by 25+ employees for personal LinkedIn and X sharing
  • Maintained consistent brand voice across all outputs
